From Rhetoric to Action: Defining a Stronger Role for Youth in National and International HIV/AIDS Policies

This unprecedented meeting between young leaders and prominent global leaders will address the impact of HIV/AIDS on young people and their communities around the world. As well, new approaches on preventing and mitigating the effect of HIV/AIDS will be explored, such as addressing broad social and economic factors that constrain young people’s lives and health. The dialogue is expected to reveal how young people can play a greater role in influencing national and international policies and programs by being more actively engaged in decision-making, implementation and accountability.
